think back to when Gary Numan wrote and recorded 'Cars' in 1979 and if we don't think we've lost something we're crazy...but if we think it's coming back anytime soon then we are complete fools... can you still recall in the juke box hall when the music played and the world spun round to a brand new sound in those far off days.. in their blue suede shoes they would scream and shout as they sang the blues, let it all hang out.. rock and roll..

Story behind the song

really wanted to do something in the vein of Waters/PF so I arranged the song to get that whole 'pigs on the wing' type feel, adding the strings (like pouring syrup on a desert, lol!) Vocal mix, as with lyrics, directly inspired by Waters.

Very difficult to write & perform an original song in the style of a well known artist like PF, but you've done an amazing job! Vocals, instrumentation, production & delivery bring back so many memories of PF at their best. Brilliant!

Definitely hear the Roger influence.  You have emulated  Floyd well.  But gilmour says he will never reunite with Roger because of his political views.   Good work on this.
